The mobius effect is a surface with only one side and only one boundary component. If you would start to ‘travel’ on one of the sides, you would pass around the whole ring and get back to the same point you started. This ring is inspired by this concept and has one wide twist.

The ring is lovely and my wife was very pleased with it. It does take a while to make and the extra $20 for 2-4 day shipping isn’t accurate so I wouldn’t waste paying that extra.

I have this ring along with the Mobius diamond engagement ring. Ben created the diamond mobius ring with the pink sapphires and diamond chips to match this ring. Ben was amazing to work with, he asked questions I hadn’t thought of. He makes such beautiful jewelry . The first comment from a friend was Wow, the fire in that diamond. After receiving my rings, I told my now husband, kiddingly I’m wearing these even if we don’t get married. I have never fallen in love with a piece of jewelry, like I have with these rings. A perfect experience!
The first thing we noticed was the well-documented wide variety of Mobius rings at Benati. We wanted a traditional Mobius strip: rectangular profile, one twist. It was great to have options.
We ordered two rings in yellow gold, sizes 7.5 and 8; they both fit perfectly. The design is comfortable and snug. The edges are crisp, beautifully showcasing the twist, but they are not sharp.
The sides and bottom of the ring are completely flush with the finger, so the fit is completely natural and unobtrusive during daily wear. The twist across the top is kept at a low profile, so there is no worry of catching the ring on anything.
Ben updated us along the way and the rings arrived exactly on time, well-protected by packaging and presentation boxes.

What a gorgeous form! The moebius twist is simply perfect. I haven't found any other jeweler that got it so right. Its comfortable to wear and never too sharp (gardening, or working-out with weights!). I regretted, as a male not to have gone for a 5mm version. The 4mm version looks very feminin on male hands. And damn, the ring got scratched pretty fast, but i gues that is normal with gold, i was used to a silver ring.

My husband and I did not specify our wedding date when we ordered the rings. We didn't expect them to arrive time since it was a last minute purchase, but magically they were delivered two days before our special day. They turned out even better than expected. We wanted something simple, but unique; which seems especially hard to come by in the commercial jewelry industry. So, I turned to Etsy where I found Benati. I had never seen mobius styled rings before and instantly fell in love. We chose matching rings; Mine is 4mm wide and his is 8mm wide, which I think definitely compliments our fingers 🙂 . We also had our initials engraved inside the bands. It's obvious that the rings were finely crafted from high grade materials. We are extremely happy with the results and would purchase again!
